So, I’ve posted a lot this week about Hermetic Hosting. Here’s the elevator pitch:

Hermetic Hosting will offer shared web-hosting services that have all the buzzwords and features, and it is the service on which I will run the Hermetic Library itself, so you know I’ll be committed to keeping it up and running! In summary, the service is reliable, secure and highly configurable; suitable for a wide range of clients from individuals who are just learning to put together their first site to the professional website developer looking to place their own clients with a superior hosting service.

This will be professional quality hosting, where you have full access to all the tools you need to manage and configure your services. Service will be on Robust, Enterprise-class Infrastructure; be Secure and Safe; have Full-featured Email; allow you full Website Management, Traffic Statistics, Pre-installed Programs, Advanced Web Features; and, all the Developer-friendly Features you need to do just about anything you can imagine.

Let me summarize my various other posts and what I am asking from you:

• I want to upgrade the infrastructure I use for the Hermetic Library.
• I want to offer hosting services to the esoteric community as well.
• I would like you to be one of 10-20 early adopters to commit to use Hermetic Hosting in order to get the new infrastructure up and running.
• As an early adopter, you will pay for at least 1 year of hosting in advance. (Typically, that will be the Starter plan at $85.86/yr.)
• I can set up a temporary space for you, on my current service, gratis, at no charge, until the new server is ready, and only start the year of service once the new server is up and running
• On the other hand, if you aren’t able to be part of Phase Zero, consider joining Hermetic Hosting later on in Phase One!

In order to become an early adopter, there’s really just three steps:

1. Contact me to arrange pre-payment in advance for at least a year of service.
2. Register a domain name, or names, via dns.hermetichosting.com if you want to use me as your registrar, or you can use any other domain registrar. I just, personally and strongly, advise against using GoDaddy, as they are evil, the WalMart of registrars. Once you register a domain name, or if you already have one, I will let you know what name servers to use for the temporary hosting space I can set up for you in step 3.
3. Then, I can set up a temporary site for you, if you want one in the interim, and get your email configured how you like and so forth. You’ll be up and running!

So, now you’ve read the previous re-introduction, heard about hosting plans and services, you know about some super, but limited time, discounts offered, you have heard some more about what will make Hermetic Hosting unique in the community and why you should consider Hermetic Hosting for your site hosting needs; and, now, you’ve heard the elevator pitch and tl;dr summary.

Whether you want to be part of the initial 10-20 founding early adopters who will commit to being part of Phase Zero, or you wait until the service is completely up and running and join during Phase One; you should consider Hermetic Hosting as a partner in your project. I’d sure like to be of service, and hope you’ll be part of the project.
