I’m not sure how I managed earlier to overlook the poetry of K. Curtis Lyle. I recently lucked into a copy of the 2003 anthology of his earlier work entitled Electric Church. I am delighted by nearly every poem in the collection, but especially fond of “The Exhaustion of the Mind Attempting to Penetrate the Mystery of God” and “The 33rd Degree of Vibration 218.”

The Hermetic Library Reading Room is an imaginary and speculative future reification of the library in the physical world, a place to experience a cabinet of curiosities offering a confabulation of curation, context and community that engages, archives and encourages a living Western Esoteric Tradition.
