On Sunday, Dec 1st, 2013, The Atlantis Bookshop, in London, will be open 2pm – 5pm for a special day to celebrate Crowleymass (Crowley’s Greater Feast of Death occurred on December 1st, 1947) and the opening of an exhibition related to the graphic novel Aleister Crowley: Wandering the Waste by Martin Hayes and R H Stewart.
“Crowleymass on SUNDAY
1st December this year!2-5pm at The Atlantis Bookshop
As you will all know, we rarely open our doors on a Sunday but this December will be different. For one day only, on the First of December, we will be opening The Atlantis Bookshop to celebrate Crowleymass, in commemoration of the passing of Aleister Crowley in 1947, one of our best-known and arguably most-misunderstood customers.
Part of the celebration will include the launch of “Aleister Crowley Wandering the Waste” — The Exhibition. The author and artist will both be present to deliver a short talk prior to the gallery opening and all the original artwork from the popular graphic novel will be for sale.
If you are able to attend, we’d love to see you there. Please just email to confirm your intention to attend, that we might ensure sufficient drinks and nibbles are provided. We look forward to seeing you for Crowleymass!” [ via email]
