Letter from G (2017-4-22)
Apr 22, 2017
Greetings,
First, I want to take a moment to thank you for signing up for this email newsletter. However, it does not yet really exist. I also don’t entirely know what this newsletter would be if it did exist. We’re about halfway to 93 subscribers at the moment, as I write this to you. There’s still another halfway to go before this becomes real and I have to figure out what I’m doing.
Of course, that’s probably an exaggeration. I’m already writing to you. I’m already doing something that I figured out. So I should tell you about that.
You may have run across my old De Profundis pages, but if not you can go gander at those at some point. If you’d seen those, you might find this newsletter a bit familiar in some aspects.
What I’m thinking of right now, for this newsletter, is to offer a kind of narrative verisimilitude but presented in pieces from various things found, as if one were snooping, among the ephemeral items found on the desk of the Librarian. There might be letters, notes, photos, clues, or cryptic tchotchkes. Each newsletter, you’ll get a glimpse of a couple things, maybe new, maybe old, maybe perennial, maybe impossible.
Thanks!
John Griogair Bell

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
I just wanted to send continued thanks to you for the years of service through this website. I travelled throughout the world living exciting projects, jobs, creations , and experiments. Hermetic.com has been a consistent source to return to over and over again no matter where I find myself on this bright blue marble. Whenever I was in need of Crowley’s writings while away from home, I had access through you! When I ran into rage negotiating with Cirque du Soleil in New York, you were there to provide Liber Libræ. When I was writing Thelemic anthems in Las Vegas (2003-2006) your site was available to inspire and incite. When I was performing in Paris and had no books or material to reference for my street performance as, “Crowley Mime” you were there for me!
I give my sincerest thanks and well wishes, here in my twenty-sixth year as a Thelemite.
Love is the law, love under will.
Fraternally,
Christian Fitzharris a.k.a “SCHOLAR” The Rapping Occultist
