Summary for the week ending Apr 30, 2017

Here’s a summary of activity for the week ending April 30th, 2017.

Happy Beltane, Solidarity to you on May Day, and hope you made it home safely from last night’s Walpurgisnacht fête (is that what they’re calling it these days?)!

I just closed the 2017 survey, so I’ve got a lot of great responses to consider now. Last year I didn’t do any kind of report out about the results, but I’ve been considering that this time around. I’ll do more sorting through the responses and see what kind of reporting might make sense and how best to do that.

I’ve also just opened the Hermetic Library 2017 Funding Campaign. Will someone pick up the one-day mini conference perk?! That’d be fun for everyone, wouldn’t it? Fun to pull together, and fun to participate in, and fun to attend. At least, I think so!

I wasn’t able to get to the post office last week, but I should be able to get the next set of Postal Exchange boxes out tomorrow. After that, there’s one more set to get done.

I’ve done a bit more work on the BBS, and have decided to move the Visual, Audio and Video pools into Gatherum. Instead of sub-categories, the pools are now tagged post within Gatherum. I also moved all the Arts & Letters posts into Discussion. I think and feel that these changes will help make the Categories a little more clear. There’s more about that in a couple posts this week to Meta.

I’ve also posted the first topic Intolerance and Tolerance in Symposium this week. I don’t know why I hadn’t yet done that. Frankly, I kind of thought I had! Well, that’s something to check out and participate in that I’ve not talked about in a while.
