“Roba & Ishtar” — Ink on paper – 16×24 cm – 2020. “Roba from Uruk is a fictional character created by an Israeli illustrator friend, Cadial. The comic book universe is both gory and punk, but full of references to Mesopotamian mythology. I represented Roba in the guise of the singer Nico, in the company of a horned goddess Ishtar, with between them the 8-pointed star symbol of Venus.”
